Matt and I decided to go on a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We decided that we would each write down 10 cities we want to visit, and then the first one to match up number for number, is where we would go. So San Francisco it was. Neither of us had spent any time there, so it worked out well. We packed a lot into our long weekend. We went to Fisherman's wharf several times, union square, chinatown, Alcatraz, took a ferry to Sausolito, we saw a couple movies, and rented go- cars to see the city. We both loved going to Alcatraz and learning more about that. One of our favorite things was riding around in the little go cars. It had voice prompts to navigate us to different sites in the city. We went under the Golden Gate Bridge, past the Giants baseball stadium, etc. It was a lot more fun than either of us thought it was going to be, and we ended up keeping the car for longer than we had anticipated. We had a great time even just watching movies together.
I didn't bring my camera, so I took a few shots with my camera phone, which isn't the best quality. Oh well!
