35 pokes later....

I have had a big, red, itchy, rash on my leg for months and months, and it won't go away with anything I have tried. I have tons of other itchy spots, too, but the leg on bothers me the most, by far. The Dr. thought it may be an allergy to something, but isn't sure what. They wanted to start with outdoor allergens, and then move on to food a different day. So when the nurse came in and started telling me what I had reacted to, she freaks out and says, "Please don't tell me you got that rash on your leg, while you were being tested. You are supposed to tell me if you're having adverse reactions." Hmmm..I think that was what started this whole testing process in the first place.Anyway- today I was tested for the outdoor allergens and 35 needle pricks later, I am allergic to cockroaches? Seriously, they need to test for cockroaches? Isn't it common sense to stay away from cockroaches? I am also allergic to cats, (knew that) horses, mold, grass, dust and dust mites. The Dr. says, "So how do you do around horses?" Well, the last time I was on a horse, it bucked me off, so not too good I guess. Oh ya- and I was 5. I am not to worried about the horses or cockroaches. Guess, I will have to dust my house more, and I get a free pass from mowing the lawn, right? :) Anyway- now I get to move on to foods. A 3 hour test next time, woohoo! When I got home Camden saw my arms they had marked with permanent marker and gets a stern look on his face and says, "Never color on your arms!" Good advice son- good advice.

Wow! You're arm looks beat up. Were the tests painful? I hope the doctor finds the cause of your annoying itchy spots.

Rachel- sorry I haven't been on my blog lately. It didn't hurt too bad. It hurt for a minute, while they were doing it, and then was fine later. Hopefully we'll be able to find out what's up! :) Hope all is well with you guys!
