Logan earned his wolf in scouts and is ready to move on to Bears! One funny thing about the scouts.... At pack meeting whenever a boy progresses to the next level in scouting, and is getting his award, all of the boys start chanting, "Kiss, kiss, kiss." They get so embarrassed to kiss their Moms, that they basically hide and turn bright red, until their mom kisses them. The boys LOVE this and get a kick of the poor scouts embarrassment. Logan- is very affectionate, and as soon as they started to chant, "Kiss-Kiss..." He grabs me, and jumps up with his legs around my waist, and plants a HUGE kiss on my lips. It was so funny and so Logan. Matt then, not to be outdone by Logan grabs Logan and picks him up and kisses him on the lips- which did bring a little bit of a surprise and embarrassment to Logan. :)

Hawaii
to the mall, driving around the island, walks on the beach, etc. It was so beautiful and relaxing! Scuba diving was fun, and the water was so clear you could see to the bottom, before we even descended. The boat ride actually made me pretty nauseous though, and usually I am not the one who feels nauseous on boats. It was still a great time, and I'd do it again. Our flight back was an overnight flight, and I'm the best sleeper, so I knew I most likely wouldn't sleep. Matt told me that when he used to travel a lot, he would stay up late the night before, or not sleep at all, so he would sleep on the plane, and be able to get back to a regular schedule. We thought we'd both do that, so the night before we slept maybe 3 hours. We were both good and tired the next night, and took a sleep aid as well. There has got to be something wrong with me, because I still couldn't sleep! I was a zombie the whole next day. Still- we had a weeks worth of relaxation, so we bounced back fast. I love Hawaii! The beauty, the weather,
and the wonderful time we spent there together. I am ready to go back when the opportunity presents itself. :)
(I didn't even bring my camera- so all of the pictures are taken from our phones.)

Poor little toes!
Camden dropped a piano bench on his toes a few weeks ago. Holy cow- I have never seen him in pain like that before. He cried for over an hour, and the blood never stopped coming for that long, too. He was shaking because he was in so much pain. Poor kid! He can only now wear crocs that are too big for him. For the first couple of weeks, he only wore socks, and still he is wearing bandaids. He lost one toe nail and the other one is probably not far behind. We have gone through boxes and boxes of those bandaids. :) He asked me yesterday if he could have one that "looks like a toenail" so he's not embarrassed because he doesn't have one. Funny boy.

Camden's dreams... again
A few weeks ago Camden woke me up with a hysterical scream. The kind where you bound out of bed and go running. He was crying and so scared. As I tried to calm him down he started telling me that somebody had poked his arm really hard. He said, "Somebody poked me, and they had a bony finger.....but that's nothing to be ashamed of." I started laughing and he said, "I'm serious! It's not!" Then he proceeds to tell me there were spiders in his closet. I told him it was just a dream, because nobody poked him, and there weren't any spiders in his closet. He said, "It wasn't a dream! It really happened! There were lots of spiders in my closet and then some of them got in a yellow truck and started driving it." As soon as he said that part, the funniest look came across his face. Then he says, " Maybe it was a dream! Spiders don't drive yellow trucks! But somebody really did poke me with their bony finger!"
He is one funny kid. I don't remember my other kids having detailed dreams at his age like this. It seems every couple of months he wakes up with a nightmare, and can verbalize his dreams. It is so scary to him, so I feel bad. However, it kind of makes me smile when I hear his dreams, because they are so real and vivid to him.

Camden's first day of Primary!
Wow- I've never had a kid so NOT excited for primary before. He was ticked he couldn't go to nursery! He cried and begged, and then was absolutely fine when they called his name with his "grillfriend" Julianna, to go to their class. They held hands, and waved goodbye. It was soooo cute. Then as soon as he got to the primary room for sharing time, he freaked out, started crawling and pretending he was a cat. He seems to do this in stressful situations for some reason. I told him he couldn't be a cat, and he starts crying and saying "That's not the rules- I am a cat, and cats don't go to primary!" He calmed down after a bit, and then told me the primary was kind of like nursery because they still gave him a snack. I can't believe my baby is a Sunbeam and not a baby anymore. I don't know who was more upset about going to primary, him or me!
