Ifly, & Flowrider

The kids absolutely love these activities. Well- Dillon doesn't love Ifly, but the others do, and they all love the flowrider place. I love when we get good deals on both places and they get to do both. For some reason I only got a picture of Morgan doing the Flowrider but Dillon and Logan got videos. :) Somebody told Morgan she looked like a professional surfer, and that pretty much made her day. She has big aspirations to be a surfer someday. :)

Poor Matt

Poor Matt has so many skin cancer spots on his face, that they couldn't just urn them off this time. He had to get a chemical on his face, leave it on for an hour, and then zap it with a blue light. It was soooo red, and burned. It looked like the worst sunburn you've ever seen. It is now peeling and although feeling a little better than it was, it looks so miserable and painful. On top of that, Matt passed two kidney stones at the same time. He gets kidney stones a lot now. At least monthly. :( He looked so miserable, and there is really nothing that he can do about that. What a trooper though. He has a higher pain tolerance than anyone that I've ever met. Just wish I could do something to ease the pain!

Funny Things

Things the kids have said lately that make us laugh:

Camden said, "Uh-oh I think I growed up mom! My pants are too short and Dad told me I wasn't allowed to grow up. Am I going to be in trouble?"

Camden loves to go to Matt's work because he always has treats. Before he left he wanted to bring another treat, so Robyn said "Why don't you get one for the road." He said okay and ran and got another treat. He asked, "Why do I need one for the road?" Before she could answer he opened the candy and went to the parking lot and threw it out in the road. Funny boy often takes things a bit too literally. :)

We saw a bird pecking the ground and moving it's head, like a bird does. Camden says, "Why is that bird doing addition?" I wasn't sure what he meant, but then he explained that every time it moves it's head it's counting and doing addition. Hmmm....not sure where that came from, but funny none the less.

I can't remember if I already posted this- so forgive me and ignore this if I have. I just wanted to make sure I remember it, because it was so funny. Logan was mentioning at Christmas time that he doesn't believe in Santa so he was asking me about it. I confirmed his beliefs. I guess I looked sad, so he asked, "Why are you sad? Did you just find out Santa isn't real too?" That cheered me up pretty fast! I was just sad that I only have 1 more kid who believes, and they are all growing up so fast.

Driving????

My daughter is 15! Old enough for a drivers permit...if her Mom hadn't lost her social security card, she'd have already had it. We even went to the DMV with birth certificate, and passport in hand. They do not accept any substitutions. So after 2 hours at the social security office a new one has been ordered, and hopefully she will be legal to drive soon.

Provo Beach

We got to spend the day with some of our favorite friends, the Godfrey's over Christmas Break. We went to their house and hung out. Then we headed over to Provo Beach, which is a fun place for the kids, and is close to their house. There are all kinds of activities there. Like, flow-rider, bowling, a ropes course, arcade games, etc. The kids had a BLAST on the ropes course. After playing there for a while, we went to Blikenstaffs and got to see all the fun old fashioned toys and candy. Then we went to a pizza place and then back again to Provo Beach. The kids want to go again, and want one closer to us. Hey- if we're wishing for things lets just wish the Godfrey's lived closer to us- like the old days! :)
