Kissing

Camden asked me, "Mom, do you like to French Kiss?"
Me: "What!?! Where did you hear something like that? Do you have any idea what that means?"
Camden: "Yes- it means you kiss with your tongue. Everybody knows that. Like this" .....Then he comes over and licks me all over my face.

I swear that didn't come from me. I can't believe my four year old knows that. Where has my sweet little baby gone?

Happy 19 years!

Wow- 19 years ago I married my best friend. It seems like a lifetime ago that we were newlyweds, but also that it was yesterday. Time is a funny thing. I married the perfect person for me and am so grateful for the past 19 years that I have spent with my best friend and husband. I look forward to eternity to come!

Airborne!

We decided to do something different and found a place called Airborne. It was one of the trampoline places, with trampolines everywhere. Holy cow- The kids had a blast! They jumped their little hearts out. What a fun place to burn off some energy.

Mountain Vistas Day

Our neighborhood has a fun tradition of having an annual carnival type event called Mountain Vistas Day. There is "fun" run and flag ceremony in the morning. Then a parade, and carnival games with inflatables in the afternoon. The older kids go to various houses to play volleyball and swim. Then in the evening there is a neighborhood dinner and a movie in the park. It's a fun family day that the kids look forward to all year.

Summertime

I have been so bad about blogging this summer. I guess we've been having too much fun. Or I've been lazy or I have nothing to say. I will just have to do a quick recap of a few of our events.
Morgan kept busy with summer gym. (Pretty much tok all of June.) EFY- which was the highlight of her summer. She had some amazing testimony building experiences. We talked for hours about what went on, her classes, etc. What a great experience for her! The next week she went to girls camp and had a great time there as well. I was sad to not be there this year. It was really fun to experience that together last year. She had a fun time this year with her dad though.

Dillon was able to go to a couple of overnighters for scouts, too. He went to the Manti pageant with his troop and had a wonderful experience. He loved it and said he was really able to feel the spirit there.

We also spent some time at Lagoon, swimming, Park City, Matt took the boys camping, the rodeo, riding the TRAX train, children's museum, etc. Matt also went to Girls camp, and to High adventure as well.
