My little flirt

Logan has always been a bit of a flirt. He is always saying something flirty and cute to pretty girls. He plays so well with girls. I always ask him who he plays with at recess and he says, "The jump-ropers!" I asked him if there were any boys who jump and he smiles and says- Nope! Mostly just me.

A couple of weeks ago in church a man came up to us and said, "Your son Logan is in my daughter's first grade class. And I just wanted to tell you what he said to her." I am thinking, this can't be good. He said that his daughter told him, that Logan came up to her and said I just wanted to tell you that you are VERY attractive. I think she felt pretty special. :)

He also has a little friend that he has known since they've been born. They lived near us in Virginia, and moved into our same neighborhood and ward, the same time we moved in here. Her name is Katie. She recently moved, and he has gone through Katie withdrawls since she left. He loves playing with her. The other day he got an email from her. At the end she signed it, "Love, Katie." He had the BIGGEST smile on his face. When he wrote her back, he turned red and wrote Love, Logan also. Apparently, the "Love" part was more than just a friendly salutation. It really meant something to him, and he worried about sending it, because he didn't want to be made fun of. I promised him I wouldn't make fun of him, or let the other kids either. He was okay with that.

Then last week the big news was that Logan came home with a girls phone number. He wasn't home for more than 15 minutes, before she had asked her mom to drive her here, to play. They played for a while and had a great time. They were jumping on the trampoline and I heard him saying, "You really are a great jumper." He would never admit to his brother and sister that he has crushes, but he does to me. You think I might be jealous of all of his other affections, but he tells me that I am the "best Mom in the whole wide world, and he loves me more than any other girl on the earth." So he appeases me. What a little player he is. :)
