Little Monkey

Diet coke in the dryer, Cheerios in the ear.
The dishwasher is a footstool, Get down from there!
A book in the bathtub, the toilet's a pool,
applesauce in the hair, wiping up the constant drool.
Hiding the chess pieces, eating crumbs from the floor,
climbing on top of the table, sneaking out the door.
Yes- his name is Camden and he is 16 months old,
he has done all of this today- he is getting bold!
Good thing he is so cute, huh?




And yet, even with no nap today, and as frustrating as some of things can be. I can't help but just love and appreciate him. He can make me tired, but I am so grateful for this sweet little monkey boy!
