County Fair

This morning we went to the library and then I took the kids to the County Fair today. They really had a good time. Of course, I forgot my camera. They came out of there wanting to buy a bunny, or a hen. That did NOT happen. :) I think their favorite thing was the petting zoo, and seeing all of the other animals. None of the rides were open- because we got there right when the fair opened. After our experience at the Oklahoma State Fair, when Dillon fell off a ride and onto the tracks, I haven't been to keen on rides at the fairgrounds, so I was happy they weren't opened. That experience still gives me nightmares! The boys spent their snow cone money on a magnifying glass each, and Morgan bought a laser pointer. Camden liked the free balloon the best. :)



Summer is coming to an end. I can't believe how fast it has gone. Next week is their last week before school starts. I know some Mom's can't wait for school to start. I'm not there yet. Sure- I could do without the fighting, because they are around each other too much. But, I like having them around. I hate that they are with their teachers, more than with me. I don't like that they have so many other influences that I can't control. (Call me a control freak.) I know it's part of life, but I'm not ready for it. But ready or not, here it comes!
