General Conference

I love general conference. It is one of my favorite weekends of the year. The kids tolerate it. Especially when we have treats for the kids. We had bags for each of the apostles and prophet. When they spoke, they got to open a bag and get a surprise. Even the older kids loved this! We also had bowls of candy with a word on it. Each time a word was mentioned the kids got to take a piece of candy from the bowl.   It really helped them to listen closer. (They may not have learned anymore, since they were so focused on hearing those specific words, but they were listening.) It also didn't hurt that Morgan was looking for David Archeletta during the missionary choir. You better believe she had her ipod out, ready for a picture of her "future husband." :)
